About the Croney Homestead.
It was in this house, built by our ancestors own hands, that our line of the Croney family began. Under this roof and on this land, we learned the value of family, love, God and hard work. Chester Croney was not only a pillar of the community but also a hard working farmer and mechanic. His wife, Gertrude Croney, was a hard working mother of 6 children, homemaker and a very talented woman. It is from her, that our family, has a love for crafting and creating. Grandpa Croney's moto in life was "Always room for one more!" This means to us, there is always room for more people in our hearts and the door was always open to people who are in need. Old Fashioned beliefs where taught to all of us kids, grand-kids, and great grand-kids alike. Here at the Homestead you will always find a nice warm cup of coffee, a cozy fire during the cold days, and conversation. So relax and enjoy browsing through the shelves of many different crafting goodies, and know you are welcomed!
